Zenit St. Petersburg striker ArtemDzyuba was one of the players named as part of the list of best players in the league which was released by the Russian Football Union (RFU).
33 players are usually namedon the list of the best players at the end of every Russian Premier League season.
According to reports from England, Cardiff city tried to sign Russian star Artem Dzyuba on transfer deadline day. The Blue Birds had signed Emiliano Sala from Rennes for a record fee of £15 million but lost the Argentine after his plane went missing last week.
It is believed that Cardiff had wanted to bring in a late replacement before the transfer deadline on the 31st of January. Dzyuba was the subject of a €25 million transfer bid which was rejected by Zenit St Petersburg. Cardiff had sent an agent to negotiate a transfer for the forward and talks had reached an advanced stage before Zenit pulled the plug on the deal.
