KALOU LINKED WITH PREMIER LEAGUE RETURN

Solomon Kalou has accused his manager of being disrespectful towards him. He said the coach is making him feel uncomfortable in the capital. The former Chelsea attacker joined Hertha Berlin from Lille in 2014, and he has been ever-present in the side. Russian national team coach Stanislav Cherchesov believes that the team can improve and become even better. He said that many people were surprised by the form of the team at the last World Cup and he believes that the team can become even better.

He said that there is a good core of players that have been playing together since the junior team and that they will become even better in the future. He said that as they get more competitive games they will be able to gain more experience and improve their performance.

Stanislav Cherchesov said that he is committed to the Russian national team and that he is always pushing the team. He said that it is his dream to help the Russian national team challenge for trophies on the international scene and he believes that they have the necessary potential in the team.

He said that there is a good football development plan in place in Russia and he is sure that they will soon reap the benefits in terms of young players development. He said that a national team cannot succeed if there is no proper structure when it comes to the development of new players.

Stanislav Cherchesov believes that the Russian Football Federation is doing everything they can to help the national team. He believes that they will reap the benefits in the future when the players in the academy integrate the senior team.

Stanislav Cherchesov said that it is also important that the Russian players believe in themselves and not underestimate themselves. He said that they need to be more consistent on the international scene if they want to win trophies in major tournaments.

He said that the objective of the team is to make it to the Euro 2020 and he is sure that they will achieve it.

CHELSEA CLOSE TO SIGNING TEEN PRODIGY

Chelsea are close to signing highly-rated Swedish teenager Edwin Andersson according to reports from his home country. Swedish tabloid Expressen reports that Chelsea is the most likely destination for the 15-year-old forward.

Andersson is currently with IFK Gothenburg and the paper were able to interview his father Mikael Andersson who confirmed that a transfer could happen in the coming weeks. The teenager has been compared to Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo due to his playing star and has been hailed as one of the next great talents from the Scandinavian country.

Pogrebnyak, the Russian Footballer Fined for Race Remarks

Pavel Pogrebnyak, the former forward from Fulham has been asked to pay a fine by the Russian Football Union of an amount of 250,000 rubles after he suggested that Russia should not be represented by black players. Pavel Pogrebnyak has played for Reading, as well as Fulham during his 3 years England stay. He gave an interview where he raised the question as to why Ari, the striker with Brazilian roots had been given a passport of Russia.

Even though Ari is an under-20 player from Brazil, he has spent a significant part of his senior years playing for Russian football as he became a part of Spartak Moscow in the year 2010. RUSSIAN STAR REFUSED £25MILLION TRANSFER TO CARDIFF

According to reports from England, Cardiff city tried to sign Russian star Artem Dzyuba on transfer deadline day. The Blue Birds had signed Emiliano Sala from Rennes for a record fee of £15 million but lost the Argentine after his plane went missing last week.

It is believed that Cardiff had wanted to bring in a late replacement before the transfer deadline on the 31st of January. Dzyuba was the subject of a €25 million transfer bid which was rejected by Zenit St Petersburg.  Cardiff had sent an agent to negotiate a transfer for the forward and talks had reached an advanced stage before Zenit pulled the plug on the deal.

Disgraced Footballers Of Russia Expected To Spend Some More Time In Prison

The 2 disgraced footballers named Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Manav are going to spend 2 months more in jail after a court of Moscow extended their punishment for the offense of assault. The news agencies reported the judgment given by Judge Alexei Krivoruchko who said that “The court has deliberated and has granted the request made by investigators to extend the imprisonment until 8th February 2019.”

The pair had committed a number of assaults on 8th October in the night at the Moscow. They attacked the driver of a host of television and also damaged her car. The driver of the host was hospitalized with some minor injuries and the proceedings for the criminal offense were initiated against them. After this, they were also caught on a video in which they were seen attacking the 2 officials of trade Ministry in a café of Moscow. And one of the officials named Denis Pak was beaten black and blue with a chair while he was having his food. For these offenses, both the footballers were apprehended and the proceedings against them were initiated for the offense of “hooliganism”.

Russia Rated The Best Host By FIFA

FIFA council members have stated that the different stadiums where the 2018 World Cup was held in Moscow this year, across 11 cities, have been the best in the history of the association and its matches. This was confirmed by Alexei Sorokin who is a member of FIFA Council as was told to TASS.

There was a meeting held in the last week of October in Kigali, Rwanda where the decision making and strategic body of FIFA discussed many aspects that are pivotal about the upcoming competitions of FIFA. Sorokin who is director general of Local Organizing Committee, Russia, was involved for the 2018 World Cup organization as well as UEFA Euro Cup which is to be held in 2020. Sorokin stated that a detailed report had been delivered by FIFA Chief Competitions and Events Officer, Colin Smith which is more fact-based while a general summary has also been framed to showcase the general emotions surrounding the events. On the whole, it was found that the World Cup this year was most successful and best one that could be had in history. All this was stated and supported with facts and the Council has acknowledged the same.
