Spartak Moscow have booked their place in the Russian Cup final after beating Yenisey 3-0 in their semifinal clash on Wednesday. Spartak Moscow came into the Russian Cup last four clash with Yenisey on the back of two wins in the Russia Premier League and they were able to make it three wins in a row in all competitions after the emphatic win over Yenisey.


Capital club Spartak Moscow began their current run of three straight wins in all competitions on the back of the 3-2 defeat at the hands of hosts FC Rostov. The loss at FC Rostov in the Russia Premier League was followed by the 2-1 home win over KrylyaSovetov in the same competition as well. Spartak Moscow made it two Russia Premier League wins on the bounce with the 3-1 victory at Ural. The away win over Ural preceded the FA Cup semifinal victory over Yenisey.

Dutch forward Quincy Promes scored in the first half to give Spartak Moscow the lead against Yenisey in the final four of the Russian Cup. The goal from ex-Sevilla and Ajax Amsterdam attacker around the midway point of the first 45 minutes gave Spartak Moscow a slender 1-0 lead at the half-time interval.Russian winger ZelimkhanBakaev doubled the lead for Spartak Moscow on 56 minutes before AleksandrSobolev wrapped up the FA Cup semifinal win with three minutes left on the clock.

Spartak Moscow will now face Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Cup final after their convincing win over Yenisey. Dynamo Moscow also booked their place in the Russian Cup final with a 3-0 win over Alaniyain their semifinal tie just like the win Spartak Moscow recorded against Yenisey. Fyodor Smolov scored one of the goals for Dynamo Moscow on the way to a dominant win over 10-man Alaniya.
